Jane, it is wonderful meeting with you. You always manage to put us at ease. I always leave your office with a more positive attitude towards this complicated college application process!

My wife and I have been very pleased with the college advisory services of McClure, Mallory, and Baron. During the long and sometimes intimidating college application process, Jane McClure has been incredibly helpful and readily available to answer our many questions. She developed a personal relationship with our son, helping him narrow his college choices and offering invaluable guidance along the way. We owe it to Jane that our son is happy at Princeton University, a school that we otherwise would not have considered for him.

I have been very pleased with the college preparation and advisory services of McClure, Mallory & Baron. We had no idea how to begin thinking through the huge quantity of colleges and universities, or how to evaluate which ones might be a fit for my son. Keeping in mind our son’s strong interest in music composition, among others, Jane led us through an exploration process which helped my son identify possible good ‘fits’. From the beginning through the long and sometimes difficult 18 month process, Jane’s expertise and guidance was invaluable. Her process allowed me to step back and my son to step up and work with her directly and this was key to our very successful outcome. He has been accepted to his number one choice with a substantial scholarship. Thank you, Jane, for all your help and guidance.

We have enjoyed working with Jane on three separate occasions and are looking forward to the fourth and final counselling interaction. Jane takes such a personal approach to each child. There is nothing formulaic in the way she arrives at a potential list of appropriate colleges for each one. She has a unique way of extracting the particular interests and needs of the student and uncovering possibilities that you might not have otherwise considered. She is accessible, responsive, and above all, always cheerful and encouraging. We cannot recommend her services any more enthusiastically.

Jane, I want to thank you for your professional assistance in the past year. Kevin’s college application process was so much less stressful and more organized than what we went through with his older brother. Even though Kevin got in early to Connecticut, he had a lot of work done on all of the other schools he was applying to which was impressive. You were very quietly effective. Thank you so much.

Dear Jane,

We have very much appreciated and valued your good advice and the “fruits” of the same. All four of the kids have had great college experiences and all four, from those experiences, are fine human beings and citizens and you can be genuinely proud of them. Thanks to you and yours, you did a great job!

McClure, Mallory & Baron was extremely helpful in helping us navigate the college admissions process for our son. The personal statement workshops that he attended were particularly useful in encouraging him to find his voice and speak from his heart. He ended up writing a unique and very personal essay. He is about to declare as an English major with an emphasis in Creative writing and is particularly enjoying writing plays. The best part is that he is very happy and engaged at college. I will be forever grateful to MM&B for giving our son the confidence to be himself.

Jane Ross is the finest counselor that my son Andrew has had in his 12 years of education. First, she earns the trust and respect of a teenager then she works to broaden his horizons with a professional skill that is both artistic as well as practical. I heartily recommend both her and the program at McClure, Mallory and Baron to other parents with college bound children.

My son and I had our initial meeting with Jani Ross during his junior year. She provided an overview of the college application process that was packed with valuable information yet not overwhelming. She relieved our anxiety about this unfamiliar process, then provided us with an individualized plan for the subsequent 18 months. I appreciate her professionalism and practical approach, newsletter, reassurance, and the respect with which she answered my son’s questions, both in person and via email.
